Abstract
ICT stands for Information and Communication Technology. This paper aims to explore a theoretical study on the development of ICT-supported education systems around the world. In order to illustrate the uses of ICT in education, a case of using Web 2.0 for students learning at Aalborg University in Denmark will be introduced. A brief overview on diverse programmes of ICT-supported education systems in different countries will be provided. However, challenges of using ICT in education exist in developing countries. So some potential strategies will be proposed for a greater development of ICT-supported education systems in the future.
