Abstract :
Nuclear parameters for the FIRE ignition device have been determined. These parameters included nuclear heating, radiation damage, and magnet insulator dose. Nuclear heating values as high as ~40 W/cm 3 are deposited in the in-vessel components. End-of-life damage is very low and will not limit the lifetime of the chamber components. The peak end-of-life insulator dose is 1.5×1010 Rads. The total nuclear heating in the 16 TF coils was estimated to be 27 MW
