Abstract
We investigate the difference between extrinsic and posteriori information fed back from outer decoder to inner detector in a turbo-BLAST system for a quasistatic channel. With the help of extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) chart and simulation, it is observed that a faster convergence rate is obtained to feed back posteriori information, and especially, a better steady state performance is attained when antenna number is small.
