Abstract :
A model of phase disturbance of base band direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) signal by additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) is established, then the receiver based on maximum likelihood probability criteria for DSSS signal in phase domain is proposed. The phase domain receiver can despread base band DSSS signal on the condition that only degraded phase information is known. The simulation results show that for base band DSSS signal the performance of proposed phase domain receiver is worse than traditional correlation receiver in presence of AWGN, but it has a better performance naturally in narrow band interference suppression than traditional correlation receiver, while it also has universal adaptability of anti narrowband interferences at different frequency points.
