Abstract
In Ad Hoc networks, some malicious nodes broadcast plenty of useless route request packets in order to occupy the resources. To prevent these flood attacks. This paper proposed a improved protocol mechanism including validity test and packets buffer. Then this mechanism has been implemented based on protocol AODV in Network Simulator (NS) and the simulation results show that our protocol can recognize the malicious nodes efficiently to decrease the routing cost and maintain a high delivery.
