Abstract :
In view of the the current backward technology in the production and development of the domestic coach, to medium-sized coach as the research object, embarks from the reality, full consideration of this type of all kinds of requirements, the reasonable selection of engine type, establish the vehicle dynamic simulation model, the simulation results showed that the type of engine matching the medium-sized coach has the maximum climbing capability for 33.4%, top speed is 121 km/h, direct file speeds up to 100 km/h time is 31.5 s, and has good fuel economy. The research results to optimize the bus chassis layout, improve quality, performance and fuel economy has certain directive significance.
