Abstract :
Conformal geometric algebra (CGA) Method is applied in displacement analysis of planar basic kinematic chain to complete forward displacement analysis of a kind of 6-link and 9-pair Assur group. Three geometry constrain equations are obtained by using Conformal geometric algebra (CGA). Second two variables were eliminated through the elimination of linear and Dixon (Dixon) resultant Finally, a 18th degree equation contained a variable was properly derived from the resultant, A numeric example is given and 18 groups of solutions are verified explicitly without extraneous roots and miss roots.
