  • Abstract
    The influence of cross section dimension and dielectric parameters to attenuation rates of horizontal polarization and vertical polarization mode is analyzed in rectangular coal mine tunnel, and the concept of mode selection parameter is The concept of mode selection parameter in rectangular tunnel is presented, through which the basic mode of EM waves in rectangular tunnel can be identified, and this can be used to provided reference to the polarization of antenna of coal mine wireless communication system.
