Abstract :
To take advantage of high spectral resolution of Landsat-7 multi-spectral images and high spatial resolution of Landsat-7 panchromatic image, a method to fuse the two data types based on discrete multiwavelet transform is presented in this paper. Experimental results show the presented technique is better than hue-intensity-saturation, principal component analysis, and discrete wavelet transform in preserving both spectral and spatial information
