Abstract
With the development of microprocessors, DSP has already started to become mainstream in the field of embedded system development. By the DSP real-time operating system, the multi-task achieve concurrent processing, thereby improving its performance. Real-time operating system in DSP multitask processor system can effectively reduce the difficulty of system development, improve system reliability and scalability. This paper first briefly introduces DSP/BIOS real-time operating system, then focuses on the real-time operating system based on PORTOS research, descript its super-task scheduling mechanism. Finally contrast the two examples and describe the using methods and characteristics of PORTOS.
