  • Abstract
    A universal synchronization algorithm of joint timing-carrier is presented in this letter. This algorithm performs pre-rotation before timing adjustment, pre-rotation of sampling data is finished by using estimated phase difference. Timing adjustment is finished by modified Gardner algorithm. This algorithm is universal, which can be used in most of modulation systems, including QPSK, OQPSK, GMSK etc. The performance of the proposed algorithm is very close to the theoretical curve.
