Abstract :
Consistency and stability are crucial to reliable operation of cascade STATCOM. In this paper, fundamental frequency switching pulse cycle transposition methods are proposed to keep the voltage balance of DC capacitors, and analyzed combining with the 11-level cascade STATCOM. The simulation results show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
