Abstract
The potential of a mobile personalised automated shopping protocol holds allure for end-user and commercial protagonist alike. The shopper is alleviated from the shopping task, in the process redressing a prevalent ailment of modern life- the ´cash rich, time poor imbalance´. This paper reports on recent efforts in autonomous mobile agent mediated retailing and considers how best to catalyse the development of a ubiquitous and semiautonomous macro economy. We develop upon previous work with our functional system, Easishop, a FIPA-compliant mobile agent based cross merchant product comparison shopping infrastructure.
