  • Abstract
The agent technology is an intelligent technology for software and hardware that can act on behalf of a client, which is capable of perceiving its environment and carrying out goal-oriented action. Therefore, to resolve the real-time, intelligent, as well as issues such as synergy for long-span bridge health monitoring, a three hierarchical model based on multi-agent technology for long-span bridge health monitoring system was proposed in the paper, and the function of each hierarchy was defined, which provide a guideline for the implementation of long-span bridge health monitoring system.
