Abstract :
Considering the influences of harmonic parameter changes both in customer and system sides of the point of common coupling (PCC), the paper proposes an assessment method for customer harmonic emission level based on the dominant fluctuation filtering principle. The concept of fluctuation ratio of harmonic volt-ampere characteristic at PCC is introduced and its varying rules with harmonic parameter in utility and customer sides are studied. The filtering principle used in statistics is used to determine the customer dominant harmonic current fluctuation and then the utility harmonic impedance is estimated. An advanced formula for the estimation of customer harmonic emission level is used to eliminate the influence of the utility harmonic source. The simulation results on the theoretic model and practical project show that the proposed method is valid and accurate.
