  • Abstract
    Limitations and disadvantages of available methods based on statistical analysis are pointed out and a novel image moving sea targets detection method based on the natural measure feature is proposed. The method analyses the characteristic of chaotic sea and sky background and extends the extraction of the natural measure feature from single dimensional signals to two dimensional image signals. The experiment results show that the natural measure features of sea, sky and moving sea targets have obvious difference. The proposed method not only can detect sea moving targets effectively, but also has high detection rate and low false alarm rate. Furthermore, the proposed method is superior to the statistical analysis method.
