Abstract :
The objective of this study was to examine the relationship between work stressor and ill health of Chinese hotel employees. A cross-sectional data were collected from staff (n=271) in six upscale hotels via self-administered questionnaires, and the data were processed using SPSS 11.5. The regression analysis showed that the work stressor was predictive of ill health, work overload and interpersonal conflict contributed significantly to ill health of Chinese hotel employees. Implications of the results for human resource practices are discussed.
