Abstract :
The picking operation of CB-sorting area is an important part of distribution centers´ sorting operation. In CB-sorting area, the reasonableness of picking path will affect the picking efficiency. This paper proposes the improved S-shaped path optimization method and describes its theory and optimization models in detail. The picking operation efficiency indicators and their calculation method are also given. Through the simulation of both simple S-shaped path and improved S-shaped path optimization method models, this paper finally carries out statistics, analysis and comparison of main operating indicators. The results verify the effectiveness and improvement of improved S-shaped path optimization method.
