Abstract :
To provide with an effective method for computer generated images with artistic appearances from 2D images motivates our work in this paper. We mainly propose the method for generating the artistic appearances based on the deviation mapping technique. As the preprocessing of the deviation mapping, the texture synthesis can be fulfilled to produce the background image with the same size of the foreground image. Experimental results show that our methods are effective.
