Abstract :
Theoretical simulations for the spin-transfer torque (STT) in magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) are presented using nonequilibrium Green´s function method. In-plane and out-of-plane components of STT are calculated for MTJs with various oxide thicknesses, and their bias dependence is investigated. The validity of the simple analytical models for STT is also discussed.
