Abstract :
A new approach for nonstationary interference suppression in Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum communication (DSSS) is introduced in the paper, which is based on Time-Frequency Distribution (TFD) and Polynomial Phase Signal (PPS) model. Instantaneous Frequency (IF) of the interference is obtained accurately by the method, and then an open-loop adaptive filter is employed to excise interference. Bit Error Rate (BER) of the DSSS system is greatly improved by the method.
