At present, due to various reasons, there are three different kinds of defining standard of steam turbine power in domestic power industry. This paper briefly comparative analyses the characteristics of the three different kinds of defining standard, and takes one 600 MW unit as example for economic comparison. The comparative analysis results show that the international general IEC standard can be used to improve the efficiency of equipment utilization and operation thermal efficiency, and to reduce the standard coal consumption rate of power supply.
