  • Abstract
The non-line-of-sight (NLOS) transmission of signal enlarges location error greatly. To reduce the influence of NLOS,people proposed several algorithms, among which residual test (RT) is an efficient one. However, the algorithm complexity of RT is high, which makes it hard to be used in practical. In this paper,we propose an algorithm simplified residual test (SRT) to reduce RTpsilas algorithm complexity. The SRT works on the principle that the NLOS errors are always positive, and the more NLOS signals in all received, the bigger the location error. The SRT has a restriction that there must be more than four line-of-sight (LOS) signals in all received.
