Abstract
The reduction of motion artifact in the ECG applications has become a more and more important issue. In this paper, we have successfully developed a novel motion artifact reduction method by the combination of G-sensor and skin-stretched sensor for the hardware and a master-slave multiple noise reduction algorithm for the software. A portable ECG system with our proposed noise reduction method can easily be used in living activities, such as walking and chest expansion.
