Abstract :
This paper presents component-level research that has been carried out at the University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland. A number of innovative technologies such as multi-protocol RFID sensing transponder, energy harvesting, RFID transponder with a freely programmable processor, quality model for agricultural and meat products, and computing aspects, have been developed, applied and evaluated. The developed system will allow easy access to RFID applications development and validation.
