Abstract :
In this paper, we researched wind power integration by using DC power flow algorithm. With DC power flow algorithm, we studied the capacity of wind power integration in the case of the static security constraints. We established a detailed mathematical model of transmission power constraints as well as a simplified model based on DC power flow algorithm and give a solution to calculate the capacity of a large scale wind farm accesses to power system. Through a example in power system, we showed that the method is simple, reliable, and able to meet the actual needs of analysis and calculation.
