Abstract :
We introduce the so-called WTAS-Framework to support the development of wearable task assistance system for industry applications, such as assembly line production and equipment inspection and maintenance. Based on a hierarchical and reconfigurable architecture, the WTAS framework features the ability to use available sensor sources to perceive the user´s physical-environmental context as well as the change of the context intelligently, and to provide the user with appropriate context-oriented service accordingly.
