Abstract :
The oil-filled transformer´s solid insulating life can be measured by the content of furfural dissolved in oil. The relation between furfural content and operation years is calculated. The theoretical distribution transformer attention to the value of the concentration of furfural is showed in an equation. The aging diagnosis of solid insulation can be put up. By using the average remaining life method , the oil-immersed transformer residual life prediction is showed in a formula. The result of examples show that this method can predicts exactly.
