Abstract :
Taking 17 cities in Henan Province as the study objects, the model of entropy was utilized to assess the competitiveness of urban regions. According to the concept of urban competitiveness, the evaluation-index system was built. The result agreed well with the actual situation, which indicated that the method of entropy could solve the multi-factor and fuzzy problems well and reduce the subjective effects availably during the process of evaluation. In the end, relevant recommendations were provided to enhance the urban competitiveness in Hunan Province.
