Abstract :
An improved algorithm on joint direction of arrival and frequency estimation for uniform linear array is presented in this paper. On the basis of propagator method the frequencies are estimated by the eigenvalues of a constructed low dimension matrix. The arrival angles are then estimated by the direction matrix with Vandermonde characteristics and the estimated frequency. Simulation shows that the proposed algorithm has better performance and a little high computational complexity than the algorithm [6].
