Abstract :
This work describes a new elaboration technique applied to a self-mixing interferometer. The basic principle consists in the duty-cycle measurement of each single fringe, in order to find the movement direction, even in the case of low back-reflection level. By means of this algorithm a real-time sensor has been realized, for measuring vibration and displacement over non cooperative targets.
