Abstract :
This paper proposes a novel soft switch push-pull forward converter for use in photovoltaic power generation systems. The auxiliary resonant cell in parallel with the main circuit is used to guarantee soft switch condition creating when main power switches commuting. Circulation current, voltage overshoot clamping, transformer magnetic-bias restraining and some crucial parameters calculation guidelines what should be pay attention to are analyzed in detail. Extensive simulation is carried out to verify the performance of soft switch push-pull forward converter.
