Abstract
For antenna and payload tests on telecommunication satellite level, AEROSPATIALE has built in 1993 a Compact Antenna Test Range (CATR) facility in a large clean integration room. The AEROSPATIALE´s CATR is currently used to support INTELSAT VII FM4 & FM5 Integration and Test subcontracted by SPACE SYSTEM/LORAL. The AEROSPATIALE´s CATR has been manufactured by DASA (reflectors and feeds assembly), and HYFRAL (absorbers and shielding). SPACE SYSTEM/LORAL procedures and data processing softwares are being used. Including a presentation of AEROSPATIALE´s CATR configuration, this paper describes the validated performances in Ku frequency band.
