Abstract :
As a new dynamic real-time traffic information collecting technique, floating car system is being paid more and more attention in the area of transportation. Based on the actual data condition of Beijing, this paper puts forward a processing flow method for real-time floating car system applied to modern metropolises with complex urban road network. And a series of experiments are reported to validate the feasibility and operational efficiency of the method from the aspects of map-matching efficiency, road network coverage and result reliability.
