Abstract :
The deployment of WLAN emerged weaknesses in security and manageable, controllable characters, which also limited wireless city plans to discover a successful business model. The paper analyzes the effort of choosing WAPI from three key factors: firstly, the infrastructure of WAPI improves WLAN´s authentication system; secondly, the certificate authority of WAPI adapts to flexible network construction and diverse billing design; thirdly, WAPI contributes to current business models to carry out sustainable operation. In the end, the authors discuss the relative merits of the broad and narrow wireless city concept, and propose the specific strategy to put into effect.
