Abstract :
In this paper, a new technique of realizing the mode switching in an active antenna by using reactive FET is presented. The reactive FET switches the oscillation mode in a two-element active array using Gunn devices at 12.45GHz. One-way switching is observed by controlling the bias voltage of reactive FET. Two-way switching is observed by controlling the bias voltage of Gunn devices.
