Abstract :
A general multiplexer design procedure without dummy channels is described. Utilization of extensive computer modeling and optimization resulted. in excellent performance of the multiplexer. The selected configuration employs an H-plane T-junction manifold. A 12 GHz-12-channel contiguous multiplexer for satellite applications is presented. This software can be used to define a practical tuning methodology of such multiplexers.
