Abstract :
Recent advances in modular electronics have allowed componentized designs of complex consumer electronic devices such as smartphones using modular blocks. However, currently there is no standard technique of automated power-management of these components. We present first steps towards minimizing power hotspots in modular electronic devices using self-organized Cellular Automata-based strategies.
