Abstract :
In the paper a closed - loop synthesis method based on the plant measured step response knowledge is proposed. Having the plant step response data one uses the discrete convolution sum to a linear controller synthesis. The method doesn´t require building the plant mathematical model. Appropriate filtering of the plant step response enables to describe the closed - loop system with a controller. The method is illustrated be an example.
