Abstract
An approach is presented for the design automation of mixed-signal ASICs. The chip is partitioned into three parts: a digital, a DSP and an analog part. This paper presents a new methodology to automate the high-level synthesis of the analog part. An architecture is generated from an analog behavioral description and a full set of specifications is determined for all the modules within the architecture. The approach is illustrated with a space application example
