Abstract
PDM is the tool to help managers manage product data and product development process. Due to the business data owing object-oriented features and supports for object search, thus XML has these characteristics, so that people increasingly prefer to use XML to store business data. In this paper, we propose XML-twig approximate matching twig join algorithm based on DTD named AdvancedFTJ, which can realize flexible matching in PDM It does not only meet the strict matching, but also satisfies the query needs with clear query target when the PDM user doesn´t understand the pattern information of the DTD.
