Abstract :
The design, construction and performance of an extremely low power drain and a small portable all solid -state millimeter wave pulse Doppler radar sensor operating at 35 GHz are described, which can be used for short distance safety warning system in building or vehicle surveillance system in freeway and similarly structured traffic environments. Two prototypes are fabricated with only 1 Watt power consumption, and the experiment results are also presented.
