Abstract
There are various types of services on a telecommunication network. This paper examines several types of multimedia services and subscriber network architectures from the service nodes to the terminals on the B-ISDN network. We propose a conceptual services model that can be applied to several ITU-T classified multimedia services. Each service model presents its own service characteristics and network configuration. The transfer paths are discussed, as are subscriber network types such as copper, HFC, or FTTC
