Abstract :
We analyze how the sampling instant error affects the receiver performance in a raised-cosine filtered DS-CDMA systems. An expression is presented for the signal to inter chip interference (S/IC1) ratio as a function of the sampling error characteristics and raised-cosine roll-off factor. Finally, we use the analysis in the paper to derive the sufficient sampling resolution for the high performance WCDMA-HSDPA system.
