Abstract :
This paper reports on wideband measurements at 900MHz with a bandwidth of 600MHz in an indoor-environment and compares the characteristics of an antenna and a radiating cable used as transmitting elements. For the comparison, the calculated Time-Variant Impulse Response, Scattering Function and Delay Power Density Spectrum are presented. The results reveal an advantage of the cable with regard to the received power being spread over a wide range of incidence.
