Abstract :
In this paper, a new approach of both analogue and digital automatic modulations recognition, based on the key features extraction, is introduced. This new method can recognize the modulation types in the condition of unknown carrier frequency. The modulation frequencies are divided into five groups in order to identify the modulation signals. The modulation recognizer´s frequency range is from 0 to 200K. Six kinds of signals: 2ASK, 2PSK, 2FSK, 4PSK. AM and FM will be recognized. It is found that all types of the modulation signals have been classified with success rate over 98% at the SNR of 10db.
