  • Abstract
    With the fast motion and rapid population increase in the World, feeding of the population has become an important problem. In 1500s, the world population was less than 1 billion while it reached 2.5 billion in 1900 and 7 billion in 2015. In the last century, the world population increase has exploded therefore food production and efficiency in food production has improved for this population as well as the need for delivery of foods to consumer safely has been noticed. In our world with dense population and limited resources, the delivery of food which is the main source of life from producer to consumer safely has become important as far as production efficiency. In this context, the use of geographic information systems for the purpose of the food production and logistic control has become compulsory whether to ensure cold chain and transportation and food reliability control at the integrity of system. In delivery of food to consumer, the geographic information systems as well as dependent applications have become necessary for production planning, production adequacy and production policies. In this paper, the new approaches applied in determination and projection of the origins of products, the efficiency planning by years and the conditional product selection started in the digital environment and, in control and verification of the product transportation under appropriate conditions after harvest; compliance of processed product and food with standards and reliability of foods and products were studied.
