Abstract :
This paper describes the application of a development approach, based upon Model-Driven Architecture (MDA), to create a Graphical User Interface (GUI) of the Amazon Integration and Cooperation Project for Modernization of Hydrological Monitoring. This Project is currently under development at the Brazilian Aeronautics Institute of Technology. Among other issues, the adopted approach involves the GUI source code generation from UML models, by using the AndroMDA Framework. The development approach was implemented in the following five different phases of: (i) Analysis and Modeling, (ii) Stereotypes and Properties Setting, (iii) Documentation, (iv) Script Generation, and (v) GUI Customization. At the end, some of the main results are reported in terms of major findings and obtained outcomes.
