Abstract :
This paper presents the application of adaptive database generation for microwave characterization using a coaxial probe. The optimised databases are related to the forward operator that maps the model parameters (the material dielectric properties) to the observation (measured data). Such database is then used by means of neural networks to determine the unknown material dielectric permittivity.
