Abstract
Slides from presentation, given by the author at The IEE / FSA International Semiconductor Forum on Thursday 12th May 2005. This presentation lists a number of different existing technologies for wireless communication before going into more detail on the increasing use of WiFi. The author explains that embedded processors, which drive consumer electronics, use a variety of non-PCI (Peripheral Component Interface) buses and so suggests the use of the QuickPCI product as a bridge to link to PCI based WiFi devices.
